Senior SS Madison Stokes continued his hot start - after two doubles and a walk last night, Stokes crushed a pair of home runs on Saturday. That led the offense, while Cody Morris gave the team a solid start in a 7-2 win over VMI. Morris struck out six while giving up two runs in five and 2/3 on the mound. Logan Chapman and Sawyer Bridges combined for 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief as the Carolina bullpen has yet to allow a run this season. Along with Stokes' longballs, catcher Hunter Taylor also hit one out and Jonah Bride drove in a pair of runs. The team also worked Keydet pitchers for 11 walks.
