HARRY WOLF, JR. 1927 / 1929 , |
One of the defensive stars of the 1927 6-0 win over The Citadel, he broke up a pass and had a tackle for a 3-yard loss. Wolfe picked off a Presbyterian pass in the fourth quarter deep in USC territory and returned it to the Blue Hose 23 to stop a late scoring threat in 13-0 Gamecock win in 1928. He was named All-State that year. He went on to run his own very successful architecture firm in Charlotte. |
