| A three-time All-Region player at J.L. Mann (2000, 2001, 2002), Valentine played at Charleston Southern during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. He joined the Gamecock squad as a walk-on in the spring of 2005 though he did not see any game action that year. Valentine played in three games as a junior while earning SEC Academic Honor Roll honors in the classroom. He repeated that in 2007, while also winning an Outstanding Walk-On award at the culmination of 2007’s spring practices. Valentine played on special teams in 2007, and recovered a blocked punt at the Mississippi State 27 to set up a Gamecock touchdown in USC’s 38-21 win that year. As of this writing he manages a wireless provider store in the Greenville area. |
