Biography

Wade was one of the highest rated offensive lineman in North Carolina as a senior in 1989, being named All-Conference and All-State in addition to a North Carolina Offensive Lineman of the Year honor. He was selected to the Shrine Bowl and picked the Gamecocks over North Carolina, N.C. State and East Carolina. Wade made it to second string on the depth chart at right guard in 1992 and pre-season 1994 but was never able to push his way to a starting role.
