Biography

Williams earned all-area honors as a junior at Glen Hills in 2002 and then was all-area and all-state as a senior in 2003. He enrolled at Independence Junior College in Kansas in 2004 but switched to Mississippi Delta Community College where he played in 2005 and 2006, earning all-state honors in ‘06. Williams won the Big Play Award for the defense in Spring 2007. He started three games in 2007 while playing in every game for the Gamecocks. His big play on the year was sacking Kentucky’s Andre Woodson for a 17-yard loss and forcing a fumble at the same time that teammate Eric Norwood returned for a touchdown. He was awarded Most Improved Defensive Tackle during the spring of 2008. He backed up Ladi Ajiboye that season and had a sack of Cullen Harper in the finale against Clemson. Williams played one season with the British Columbia Lions of the CFL (2009) and had 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks for the Spokane Shock of the Arena league in 2011.
