REGGIE ALEXANDER Running Back 1993 / 1995 Pelham, GA |
Biography |
---|
Alexander signed with the Gamecocks out of Georgia Military College with three years to play three. He saw very limited time in 1993, rushing once against Tennessee and picking up nine yards. In 1994 he backed up Stanley Pritchett at fullback, seeing his most extensive action in the win over Louisiana Tech. Alexander was listed as the starter at fullback going into the 1995 season, with Pritchett at tailback but Pritchett shifted back to fullback when junior college transfer Duce Staley joined the team, moving Alexander back to second string. He had carries against Louisiana Tech, Kent State, Mississippi State and Florida that year, scoring on a 2-yard run against Kent State. |
