Biography
Andrews joined the team as a walk-on and contributed on special teams and as a reserve defensive back over the next three seasons. He was the top backup to Dickie Harris at left cornerback in 1971. Andrews suffered a knee injury in the 1972 spring game while returning an interception, but he recovered in time to work as a backup rover during the season.
