Biography
A three-year starter for the highly successful Independence program, Andrews was named All-Conference as a sophomore (2003), junior (2004) and senior (2005), also earning All-State honors his final two seasons. He played in the 2005 Shrine Bowl. He committed to USC over East Carolina and then redshirted in 2006. He played in one game (S.C. State) at left guard in 2007 and then played in two games in 2008. He was the top backup to Heath Batchelor at left guard in 2009. He lives in Charlotte now.
