| A standout linebacker at Cardinal Newman Walker also excelled as a punter. He was named to the Palm Beach Post’s All-Area as both a junior and senior. Walker was listed as a tight end on the 1981 roster but played on special teams and defense during the season. He began the 1982 season as the top backup to Rickey Hagood at nose guard and had a sack and four tackles that year. |
