ADDISON WILLIAMS
Cornerback
2007 / 2009
Atlanta, GA
Biography
Williams was named to All-Metro and All-State teams as a senior at Westlake while also winning a state championship in track. Rated as the #20 prospect in Georgia by SuperPrep, he had six interceptions and scored five times on returns as a senior. He committed to USC in the spring before his senior season over offers from Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tulane and Indiana. Williams started the regular season finale against Clemson as a true freshman and broke up a pass against Tennessee. He won Most Improved Cornerback in the spring of 2008 and made one start that year, against Mississippi. He intercepted a pass against Arkansas at the Gamecock four yard line in USC’s 34-21 win over the Razorbacks. Williams worked as a reserve cornerback in 2009, with a pass breakup against Florida Atlantic. He excelled academically, earning the team’s Harold White GPA Award and making the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Williams’ career was ended by an injury before the 2010 season and he worked as a student assistant that season and as a graduate assistant during the 2011 season.
