Biography
A running and passing threat at St. Amant High School, Willis was a two-time district MVP (1987, 1988) before signing with the Gamecocks. He redshirted in 1989, then was a backup wide receiver for two seasons before transferring to Louisiana Tech. Willis would go on to be a captain for the Bulldogs and caught a touchdown pass in the 1993 victory that gave them their first WAC championship.
