Biography

Joining the team as a walk-on linebacker in the fall of 2008, Wilson began to make his mark on the team when he was shifted to fullback in the spring of 2009 and won the Outstanding Walk-On Award. He played some on special teams, but contributed more in 2010 when he made four special teams tackles and returned two short kickoffs for three yards. An outstanding student, Wilson won the Harold White GPA Award in the spring of 2011 after having made the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2010. He earned the starting fullback role in the spring of 2011, taking over for the graduated Patrick DiMarco and started seven times at that position.
