GREG WRIGHT Safety 2005 / 2007 Cross, SC

Biography

Twice named all-region at Cross, Wright was named all-state as a senior and a winner of the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award given for the combination of citizenship, academics and athletics. He played in the 2001 North –South All-Star Game and spent 2002 through 2004 at Mars Hill and South Carolina State before transferring to USC in 2005. He made the team as a walk-on and played in five games on special teams. Wright worked the rest of his career as a reserve linebacker and key member of the special teams units and was awarded with a scholarship as a senior for his hard work.
