2001 - In one of the most memorable SEC regular season victories for the Gamecocks, Carolina stunned #5 Florida 69-68 on a three pointer with just under six seconds left that was made by a backup who only played a total of 14 seconds in the game. The game was back and forth all the way, with the Gators leading 27-26 at the half. The real drama came in USC's final possession; down 68-66 Carolina first tried a pick and roll relying on guard Aaron Lucas and forward Calvin Clemmons, but Florida guard Major Parker broke up the pass, which ended up out of bounds. With just 5.6 seconds left little used reserve forward Travis Kraft inbounded the ball to Clemmons, who the played called for to take the shot. Clemmons though dumped the ball back to a wide open Kraft, who coolly sunk a 25-footer for the game winner. The sophomore from North Dakota would only score ten points on the season, but six came in this win and none bigger than that clincher.
