2010 - In one of the most storied moments in Gamecock baseball history, USC was down to their final strike and trailed Oklahoma 2-1 in the 12th inning in Omaha. Robert Beary was sitting on second base, having singled to open the inning, but Jackie Bradley Jr. had two strikes on him facing Sooners closer Ryan Duke. Bradley worked the count full then lined a single into right field to score Beary. Reserve first baseman Jeffrey Jones drew a walk, then DH Brady Thomas drilled the first pitch he saw up the middle to bring Bradley home with the winning run. USC's other run came in the eighth when Evan Marzilli doubled and scored on a single by Christian Walker. USC got a strong start from Blake Cooper (5.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 6 K) then used five relievers, with Tyler Webb getting the win by pitching a scoreless top of the 12th, coming on after Ethan Carter surrendered a leadoff home run.
