Happy Birthday to Jabari Levey - The big offensive tackle from Moncks Corner was a big get for USC in the 2002 recruiting class. Named one of SuperPrep's top 35 offensive linemen nationally as well as one of Athlon's Top 100 incoming freshmen, Levey played in the Shrine Bowl and was also one of The Charlotte Observer's top five recruits in South Carolina. He signed with USC over offers from Tennessee, Florida State and North Carolina and played as a reserve on the offensive line as a true freshman. As a true sophomore he started much of the year at left guard (seven games) before moving into his more natural position at left tackle in 2004. He went on to start the next 22 games at that position and was named the team's Outstanding Offensive Lineman in the spring of 2005. After his USC career Levey played with the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe, Montreal Alouettes of the CFL and the Arena league's Philadelphia Soul and Alabama Vipers franchises.
