Happy Birthday to Langston Moore! - Named All-Lowcountry and All-Region as a senior at James Island in 1998, Moore played in the Shrine Bowl before joining USC. He picked the Gamecocks over Florida State, Virginia Tech and N.C. State and started seven games at offensive guard as a true freshman. Moore moved back to his more natural defensive line position in 2000, starting one game that year, recording 21 tackles, 8 for loss and 2 sacks. He started 22 games over the next two seasons, with 116 tackles, 12 TFL and 4 sacks. Moore had key blocked field goals in wins over Boise State and Georgia in 2001. He was named All-SEC and 3rd team All-America as a senior in 2002. He went on to play in the NFL with the Bengals, Cardinals and Lions as well as with the Florida Tuskers of the UFL. Moore works on the Carolina broadcast team now, handling sideline reporting duties.
