2019 - Carolina stunned the nation with a road upset of #3 Georgia. The 2-3 Gamecocks fell behind 3-0, but freshman QB Ryan Hilinski led the team on a 93-yard scoring drive, finishing it off with a 46-yard touchdown pass to Bryan Edwards. The Bulldogs went up 10-7 early in the second, but Parker White tied the game with a 49-yard field goal and the game was knotted at 10 with a minute to go in the first half. Georgia was driving, trying to take the lead going into halftime, when QB Jake Fromm threw to the sideline. USC cornerback Israel Mukuamu jumped the route and picked off the pass, returning it 53 yards for a touchdown. Carolina kept the 17-10 lead until late in the fourth quarter. After USC was called for pass interference on a fourth down pass that seemed uncatchable Georgia tied the game on a pass from Fromm to Demetris Robertson with 1:48 to go. In the first overtime Mukuamu picked off his third interception of the day, meaning all USC would need would be a field goal to win, but Parker White's 33-yarder missed. In the second overtime White made a field goal to go up 20-17. The USC defense stiffened and forced Georgia to try a field goal to tie, but Rodrigo Blankenship's field goal sailed wide left and USC had the biggest win of the Will Muschamp era to date.
2013 - 14th ranked South Carolina traveled to Arkansas and administered a 52-7 beatdown of the 3-3 Razorbacks. USC allowed a touchdown on Arkansas' opening drive but shut them out the rest of the way. The Gamecocks had the ball for an impressive 43:25 of the game, running 537 total yards. After Alex Collins ran for a touchdown for the Razorbacks Elliott Fry hit a 33-yard field goal to cut it to 7-3. USC CB Victor Hampton then intercepted a pass and returned it to the ARK six, setting up a touchdown run from there by Mike Davis, who finished with 128 yards on the ground. Two Connor Shaw to Bruce Ellington touchdown passes pushed the Carolina lead to 24-7 at the half. The Gamecocks kept rolling after the break, as Damiere Byrd scored on a 45-yard pass from Shaw on the first possession, then Jimmy Legree forced an Arkansas fumble, leading to a 10-yard touchdown run by Shaw. Backups took over for USC at that point but didn't let up. Dylan Thompson connected with Arkansas transfer Kane Whitehurst on a 15-yard pass to make it 45-7 and freshman quarterback Brendan Nosovitch had a seven yard run for the final touchdown. The win was to that point the largest margin of victory in a road win in the Spurrier era at USC.
