JOHN WUNDER Quarterback 1988 / 1991 Hopatcong, NJ |
Biography |
---|
Wunder led Jefferson to an 11-1 record and a state championship as a senior before joining the Gamecocks. He served as a reserve quarterback and then the holder on kicks for Marty Simpson in 1991. Wunder had one of the more unappreciated big moments that season when he made a great save of a bad snap and got the ball down in time for Simpson to make a 38-yard field goal in the fourth quarter of a 23-14 win over defending national champions Georgia Tech. |
