The second half of the doubleheader saw USC again fall victim to Arkansas pitching and 2B Carson Shaddy. Razorback starter Isaiah Campbell allowed just two singles over five innings and Matt Cronin picked up his second save of the day by pitching two scoreless frames of relief. USC starter Cody Morris allowed only a single unearned run in his five innings, but reliever Eddy Demurias allowed a 2-run homer by Shaddy, his second home run in two games.Two of USC's three hits came from second baseman Justin Row, who also got the team's only hit in game one.
