Arkansas tore through the Gamecocks in the first three innings of game two of the SEC Tournament, leading 3-0 after one, 6-0 after two, 8-1 after three and 10-1 after four innings. Carolina's hitters did their best to rally, as an LT Tolbert grand slam cut it to 10-6 in the sixth, but the Razorbacks bounced back with one in the sixth and two in the seventh to push the lead back to 13-6. USC mounted one more rally in the ninth, scoring on an RBI double by Madison Stokes and an RBI single by Tolbert and loading the bases with one out. Unfortunately Arkansas reliever Barrett Loseke got Chris Cullen to a game ending double play, forcing the Gamecocks into an elimination game with LSU the next day.
