Adam Hill was expected to be the ace in 2018 and he showed why in a 7-0 win over Charleston Southern. Hill pitched a no-hitter through seven and struck out a career high 14. Hunter Lomas came in to pitch the 8th and allowed the only Buccaneer hit, but he and Parker Coyne combined for two scoreless innings of relief. USC didn't have as many baserunners as they'd had in the season's early games but continued to light up the score via the long ball. Freshman Noah Campbell hit his first career home run, while LT Tolbert, Jacob Olson and Jonah Bride all added homers. Campbell also tripled, while Tolbert had three hits and scored twice.
