(AP) - The Carolina Gamecocks scored in the tenth frame today to break a 4-4 tie with Erskine and win over the Seceders by a one point margin. Bob Stoddard, sometimes a pitcher but in right field today, whose action with the willow gave the Gamecocks a tie with the Tigers yesterday, was a star at the bat again. In the seventh he scored South Carolina's first run and in the next frame brought in two more and later tallied again himself. In the last inning he sent out a hot grounder by third that brought in Lamar with the winning counter.
