For the second straight game Gamecock bats pounded LSU pitchers, as Carolina scored eight runs in the first three innings and cruised to an 11-4 win. A double by LT Tolbert brought in Carlos Cortes to get the scoring started, then Madison Stokes scored on a wild pitch and Tolbert reached the plate on a sacrifice fly by Justin Row. The 3-0 lead jumped to 6-0 in the second as Stokes doubled in two runs and a second double from Tolbert brought another run in. Two more scored in the third on an RBI single from TJ Hopkins and a sac fly from Chris Cullen. Adam Hill started for USC and scattered eight base runners over six innings before turning the game over to the bullpen. The normally reliable Parker Coyne struggled, giving up four runs, but TJ Shook closed the door on LSU to clinch a series win.
