Carolina opened the SEC Tournament playing the last game of the day and as they've done throughout the last part of the year, rallied in the last third of the game for a comeback win. USC fell behind Missouri 2-0 in the fourth - Carmen Mlodzinski started and pitched three shutout innings but three singles and a walk enabled the Tigers to score a pair. USC opened the bottom of the fifth with a double from LT Tolbert and a single by Hunter Taylor, then Tolbert scored on a double by Jacob Olson to make it 2-1. Unfortunately a pair of strikeouts and a fly out left Taylor stranded on third. The Gamecocks took the lead in the bottom of the 7th when Taylor singled and Olson walked, then after an out Noah Campbell singled to load the bases. Carlos Cortes walked to force in a run to tie the game, a sac fly from Madison Stokes brought in Olson to go ahead and Jonah Bride added an insurance run with an RBI single. Graham Lawson took it from there, pitching a scoreless eighth and ninth that included three strikeouts and a double play. Eddy Demurias picked up the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, as Gamecock pitchers allowed only four hits on the night. The game would end at 2:40 a.m. EST as the fourth latest finishing game in the history of the SEC Tournament.
