Game Site: Auburn, AL Game Synposis: South Carolina closed out the SEC season with a loss on the road to Auburn, who clinched the SEC championship with the win. Tiger guard Bryce Brown was the big problem for USC, as he nailed eight three-pointers on the way to scoring 29 points. Carolina actually roared out to a 14-point lead in the first half, up 25-11 with nine minutes left in the first half, but Auburn outscored USC 24-12 from there out. The Gamecocks led 37-35 at the break but the Tigers took the lead for good on a 3-pointer by Brown with 15:36 to go. The closest USC would get down the stretch was 73-67 with 1:01 to go on a 3-pointer by Frank Booker. The senior guard from Augusta, Georgia did his best to put the Gamecocks on his back, as he scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Chris Silva also had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out. Reserve guard Wesley Myers was the only other Gamecock in double figures with 11.
