Game Site: Starkville, MS Game Synposis: USC held Mississippi State to 33% shooting in the first half, getting out to a seven point halftime lead, and the Gamecocks would expand that to 11 points early in the second half. The Bulldogs would rally though, and actually held a three point lead with five seconds remaining. A layup by Chris Silva cut it to one at 60-59 with four seconds left. A foul on Frank Booker sent MSU's Lamar Peters to the line and he hit both free throws. Hassani Gravett, who scored a game high 19 points, hit a miracle three pointer at the buzzer though to send the game into overtime. USC fell behind immediately in the extra period and the Bulldogs scored the final four points of the game after a Gravett layup tied it at 68. Besides Gravett's 19, Silva, Maik Kotsar and freshman Felipe Haase all scored in double figures with 11 each. Silva had 12 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season.
