Biography
Anderson was named All-State and the South Carolina Coaches Association Lineman of the Year in 2005 as well as earning a spot on the Orlando Sentinel All-Southern team and in the Shrine Bowl. Rivals.com rated him the third best player in South Carolina and the number eight guard in the nation. Anderson committed to USC over Clemson, West Virginia and Virginia Tech and then played in all 13 games as a true freshman. He started against Wofford, Florida Atlantic, Auburn and Kentucky. He began the 2007 season as the starting left guard and started the first four games of the year, playing in nine games total. Anderson moved to center in 2008 and started every game there as well as five games in 2009. He also made two starts at guard in 2009. Anderson went to training camp with the Green Bay Packers in 2010 and played for the Iowa Barnstormers and Omaha Nighthawks of the Arena League in 2011. Anderson has since gone into coaching and has worked at Dutch Fork, Greenville and Spartanburg High Schools.
