| The #17 Gamecocks could never get untracked against LSU in the second round of the SEC Tournament and fell 1-0. Senior forward Simone Wark and Luciana Zullo both came close to putting one in the Tigers' net but never broke through. Wark's two shots on goal were Carolina's closest chances to scoring. The LSU goal came on a corner kick that caromed off a USC player and through keeper Mikayla Krzcezowski's hands and was credited as an own goal. The Gamecocks will await NCAA Tournament field announcements on Monday. |
