# 10 South Carolina 2 , Purdue 1
Columbia, SC
Carolina got a couple of boosts in a 2-1 win over Purdue on Sunday. Freshman Jylissa Harris, a starter since setting foot on campus, had a goal and assisted on Elexa Bahr's goal and All-American Grace Fisk returned from playing for England's national U20 squad. Fisk had two shots on goal in her first game back. Harris scored first in the game, breaking a scoreless tie in the 67th minute by getting a shot just over the Purdue keeper into the right side of the net. She then sent a corner kick in during the 81st minute that Bahr put in the back of the net for a 2-0 lead. The Boilermakers added a late goal to break the shutout, but Carolina held on to improve to 5-1 this season so far. Next on the schedule is a home game vs. Wake Forest on Thursday.
