| For the second straight game Grace Fisk made a stop in goal and this one helped preserve a double overtime tie with #12 Vanderbilt. A Commodore shot made its way through a crowd and just under the arm of keeper Mikayla Krzcezowski, but Fisk's right foot kept the ball out of the goal. Krzeczowski herself tied the SEC career shutout record, recording her 34th. Offensively, forward Luciana Zullo threatened Vandy multiple times. She banged a shot off the post in the first minute, and nearly knocked one free from VU keeper Lauren Demarchi's hands for a goal. Carolina did preserve its streak of not allowing a goal in the first half, something they've accomplished in every game this week. |
